What can you do?

You can join Seán's campaign & help out in canvassing, distributing literature, or simply by spreading the word that Seán offers a real new choice for the people of Kilkenny City.

You don’t need a degree in politics to be politically active, you don’t need to join the Labour party to be part of our campaign team, all you need is to share the vision, that Seán has outlined on this site, or just simply think Seán is the best person to represent your views on Kilkenny Borough Council

Well there’s loads that you can do. It’s up to you. Not everyone wants to canvass or distribute leaflets. If you have a head for heights, perhaps you’d like to put up posters. If you have computer skills, you could establish databases, create mailmerges, type press releases. And if you have good organizational skills, perhaps you could organize some campaign events or fund-raisers.

It can be good fun too. Seán likes the joke that we believe in putting the 'Social' back into 'Socialism'!

Finance

Seán and the Labour Party do not have access to huge corporate donations, unlike other candidates. If you want to make a small donation towards campaign funds, contact Seán. All donations, no matter how small, will be recorded and available for inspection.

 

Join the Labour Party

Seán believes that the Labour party offers the best alternative to this failed Government, and urges you to join the Labour Party and help in that effort. That said, you may want to work for, or support Seán, without joining any group.
